(ZINK BIKES PRESS RELEASE)
Zink Bikes today announced the ZADER, a 190 mm, 27.5″ downhill mountain bike built in Southern California for the riders who refuse to be passengers on their own bikes. Although it might surprise you at the races, it was built to maximize fun by getting out of the way. ZADER is the result of a simple question: what would the perfect DH bike feel like if you designed it around the ride, not the result?
“This bike came from riding everything,” said Cam Zink, CEO and founder of Zink Bikes. “Not just bike parks, ridgelines or races. Everything. I wanted one bike that stretches your limits and your smile from ear to ear. Something you trust when you go long, come up short, or happen to be going bigger than anyone has gone before. Something light enough to make you forget carbon, but so strong you can trust it on the world’s biggest stage.”
Built for the Feeling
The ZADER wasn’t designed around a stopwatch. It was designed around a feeling – when the landing is deeper than you thought, when the line actually works, when you look back up the hill and already want another lap. The geometry reflects that: short rear end, extremely playful and progressive, tuned for direct input without punishing you for it.

You don’t have to be a passenger. You don’t have to baby it. The ZADER wants you to send it – mannys, jumps, corners, chutes, whatever the hillside is offering – and it’ll back you up. But make no mistake: it can race, and on the right course, it might actually be the best race bike out there. That just wasn’t the point.
