Dawn Marie Addresses Potential In-Ring Return After 17 Years

Dawn Marie may have made a surprise return to WWE television during NXT’s ECW Arena tribute show in 2024— but according to her, fans should not expect a comeback match.

While speaking to Going Ringside, the former WWE and ECW personality made it very clear that her in-ring career is officially over for good. When asked directly whether fans would ever see her wrestle again following her last WWE appearance, Dawn Marie gave a very blunt answer: “No. My days are over.”

Instead of returning to professional wrestling full-time, Dawn Marie explained that she’s fully focused on her life outside the business now, including her healthcare work and personal businesses. According to her, she has spent years working as a nurse specializing in dementia care while also running alternative healing and wellness projects away from wrestling.

“What I’m doing now is I’m a nurse by trade. So I specialize in locked dementia units. I’ve been loving that. I’ve been doing that for years.”

That’s not all as Dawn Marie also revealed she operates a crystal store and works in alternative healing and educational services as part of her current career path.

“I also have a crystal store, and I do alternative healing, and I do education and teachings. I do that also.”

This comes after Dawn Marie made a surprise WWE appearance during the November 6, 2024 episode of NXT at the historic 2300 Arena. As part of WWE’s tribute to the building’s extreme wrestling history, Dawn Marie returned to serve as the special guest referee for the hardcore match between Lola Vice and Jaida Parker.

At the time, some fans wondered whether the return could potentially lead to a match for the first time since August 2008. But based on her comments, Dawn Marie sounds completely content leaving her wrestling career in the past while focusing on her healthcare career, businesses, and convention appearances instead.
