It’s only been a few weeks since WWE released all five members of The Wyatt Sicks from their contracts. Yet, the Bray Wyatt tribute group is still keeping the lantern going. Fireflights unite, because the Wyatt Sicks reunite from July 31st through August 2nd at WrestleCon. This wrestling fan convention will be held at the Hilton Minneapolis. This meet-and-greet will be the first official appearance of The Wyatt Sicks since WWE let them go, as their non-compete will be up within a week of the event.
Wyatt Sicks Reunite with New Names
Unfortunately for The Wyatt Sicks, the horror-movie-inspired group doesn’t own the trademarks for their names. Therefore, each member will have to undergo a name change once their 90-day non-compete clause expires.
For many, this was an easy decision, as most of the stars wrestled on the indies prior to their WWE debuts, or had to forge on with new names following past releases.
The new Wyatt Sicks member names include:
- Uncle Howdy: Taylor Rotunda
- Joe Gacy: Joseph Sawyer
- Erick Rowan: Erick Redbeard
- Nikki Cross: Nikki Storm
- Dexter Lumis: Samuel Shaw
As we first reported, Dexter Lumis is already looking to reinvent himself back into Samuel Shaw. The former WWE Tag Team Champion recently shaved his locks off. See what he looks like now (and which ex-WWE star helped him do it) here.
Details on WrestleCon Minneapolis 2026
SummerSlam is coming to Minneapolis, and that means the WWE Universe will be in Minnesota in droves during the end of July and beginning of August. Festivities are beginning to take shape, including Highspots’ WrestleCon.
Currently, The Wyatt Sicks and Sting are the only names officially announced for the event. However, we’re sure a plethora of ex-WWE Superstars will be on hand. Perhaps, The New Day will be there with their new names?
New Day’s New Names Revealed
Just a couple of weeks after WWE cut The Wyatt Sicks, the TKO-owned company parted ways with The New Day. There was heavy speculation over whether Kofi Kingston could use his name during his post-WWE career. Now, we have a definitive answer.
The 12-time WWE Tag Team Champions will be at GalaxyCon in Oklahoma City from May 22nd to May 24th. In a recent advert for the two’s post-WWE appearance, their new names have been confirmed.
Going forward, The New Day will go by the following names:
- Xavier Woods: Austin Creed
- Kofi Kingston: Kofi
Both men have established careers under their real names. Although Xavier Woods rose to fame with his Professor X namesake, his UpUp DownDown Channel introduced the world to Austin Creed.
Austin Creed has been an internet personality under his own name for over a decade and should have no issues transitioning to this new chapter with his real name.
The same can be said for Kofi. He’s taking the Cody Rhodes indy route by just using his first name. While they’re heading to GalaxyCon, it’s being heavily rumored that Austin Creed and Kofi are headed to AEW to finally have their dream match against The Young Bucks.
