In a lot of ways the Packers‘ offseason has been more defined by the players they’ve lost than the ones Green Bay added.
Dontayvion Wicks, Romeo Doubs, Rasheed Walker, Quay Walker, and Rashan Gary all playing elsewhere next season will at minimum be a roster revamp but could be a significant amount of talent that will need to be made up for by the Packers’ handful of additions.
Packers could see big production from Skyy Moore
One Packers move that flew a bit under the radar was the arrival of wide receiver and special teams ace Skyy Moore.
Over at Packers on SI, Bill Huber argues that Moore may be one of the more underrated signings made by any team across the league and certainly capable of making a big impact for the Packers.
“Green Bay’s return game was feeble,” Huber writes. “At best, last season. Rookie Savion Williams was a nonfactor as the kickoff returner and veteran Romeo Doubs returned punts only because he could reliably field them.
“Moore will be an instant upgrade, which is what makes him such an underrated addition even though he caught only five passes the last two seasons.”
If Moore can rediscover the spark that made him a second-round pick and provide the special teams stability the Packers have lacked, he may go from an under-the-radar signing to a focal point of Green Bay’s success in 2026.
>In a year defined by high-profile departures, finding a diamond in the rough like Moore could be exactly what the Packers need to keep their momentum in the NFC North.
