Packers do not get any favors with brutal 2026 schedule

The NFL officially released its 2026 schedule on Thursday night, and it was clear that some teams will have a more favorable path in front of them than others.

One team that did not get the benefit of the doubt from the league is the Green Bay Packers. According to John Breech of CBS Sports, the Packers are tied with the Arizona Cardinals for the third-toughest schedule.

Although Green Bay’s Super Bowl aspirations fell through, mostly due to key injuries and some conservative play-calling from head coach Matt LaFleur, the Packers still made the playoffs, only to let a wild-card win slip away against the Chicago Bears.

Every team’s opponents for the upcoming season were already revealed and some games were even leaked earlier in the week. Now that the full schedules and dates have been pieced together, Green Bay will certainly be challenged as it looks to bounce back from that early postseason loss and live up to the expectations.

Packers have tough schedule ahead of them

For starters, the Packers made sure to bring some Wisconsin flair to their schedule reveal as teams continue to get creative and try to one-up each other with the regular season still four months away.
