Tiffany Nieves Cashes In Opportunity To Win NWA Women’s World Championship

Tiffany Nieves is officially the new National Wrestling Alliance Women’s World Champion after pulling off a shocking cash-in on the May 16 episode of NWA Powerrr. Nieves took advantage of complete chaos around the title scene and stole the championship moments after former champion Natalia Markova had already been taken out.

Markova had just finished competing against Sirena Veil when things completely fell apart after the match. Gretta stormed in and attacked Markova, laying her out with a chokeslam.

That’s when Nieves made her move. Using the Burke Invitational flowers she previously earned, Nieves cashed in her opportunity while Markova was still down. She placed one foot on the fallen champion as the referee counted the three-count, officially ending Markova’s reign and crowning Nieves as the new NWA Women’s World Champion.

The title victory marks the first NWA Women’s World Championship reign of Nieves’ career. Markova’s championship reign lasted 274 days and included nine successful title defenses before finally coming to an end on Powerrr.

What do you think about Tiffany Nieves winning the NWA Women’s World Championship this way, and should Natalia Markova get an immediate rematch? Drop your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
