Embark Studios has released the highly anticipated ARC Raiders Update 1.29.0, bringing a plethora of new content, including but not limited to gameplay balancing, new features, and general quality-of-life improvements. One of the highlights of the update is the new trader, Ermal, accessible to players above Level 25. Along with this, the game introduces a new grenade launcher called the Rascal, offering a flexible explosive option that might change the meta for the better.
The patch also focuses on improving the AI behavior in terms of stealth mechanics and overall weapon durability, as the community had long been calling for a long time. The new AI behaviour feels more natural, reacts more dynamically to the environment, and interacts with players better than before. Along with all these, the game addresses micro improvements in terms of UI, audio, and holistic game optimisation.

New Additions
- Added new trader “Ermal” from the Nomadic Envoys faction.
- Players above Level 25 can trade rare ARC materials and weapons for rewards.
- New rewards include:
- Expanded Stash Space
- Expedition Vault access
- Weekly rotating cosmetics and blueprints
