Liverpool welcome Brentford to Anfield on Sunday in their final Premier League game of the season.
Arne Slot’s side failed to defend their Premier League crown, having cruised to the title during the Dutchman’s first season in charge.
The Reds must beat the Bees to ensure qualification for the Champions League, but could risk missing out if they are beaten and certain other results go against them.
Ahead of the game, it appears that Liverpool could consider selling one of their academy graduates this summer.
As per CaughtOffside, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, and the Merseyside giants could be willing to allow the player to depart during this summer’s transfer window.
Jones, 25, is a product of Liverpool’s youth system and has played more than 225 times for the club across all competitions at senior level.

The Englishman’s contract at Anfield is set to run until the summer of 2027, but the report suggests that the Reds could consider a sale in the coming months.
It is claimed that talks between Liverpool and Jones over a new contract haven’t progressed, and the club could therefore decide to cash in on the player this summer in an effort to avoid losing him as a free agent next year.
Serie A champions Inter Milan attempted to sign the midfielder during the recent January transfer window, and the report claims that the Italian outfit remain interested in the player.
Spurs and Aston Villa are also both said to be monitoring the midfielder’s situation, with Jones having started just 17 of Liverpool’s 37 Premier League matches so far this term.
Despite interest from clubs in the Premier League and Serie A, the report suggests that Liverpool’s asking price of around £35 million could prove an obstacle to a sale.
