- Jahmyr Gibbs takes the top spot: The Detroit Lions running back ranks ahead of Bijan Robinson and Christian McCaffrey, in large part thanks to the consistently good play of the Lions offense.
- Chaos outside of the top 20: More than one-third of NFL teams are expected to use either a two- or three-man backfield rotation, creating uncertainty for several running backs outside the top 20 and leaving room for significant movement in the rankings throughout the offseason.

The running back market has largely settled, with only a few notable questions remaining. Alvin Kamara’s future with the New Orleans Saints remains uncertain, while several veteran free agents who finished last season on injured reserve — including Najee Harris, Antonio Gibson and Joe Mixon — are still unsigned.
That leaves us with an early set of redraft rankings that should closely resemble where players settle by August.
These rankings are designed for PPR redraft leagues, with analysis for the top 10 players included at the end of the article.
