Although Roman Reigns defeated Jacob Fatu at WWE Clash in Italy 2026, not everything went smoothly after the match. While still inside the venue in Turin, The OTC found himself involved in an uncomfortable encounter with an overzealous fan who crossed the line. A video making the rounds on the IWC shows Jey Uso stepping in quickly to protect his Tribal Chief before the situation escalated.
WWE’s European Summer Tour kicked off in the United Kingdom with a live event before moving through Spain and eventually arriving in Italy for Clash in Italy. In the show’s marquee matchup, Roman Reigns defended the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu in Tribal Combat. Despite speculation surrounding possible interference from the OG Bloodline, the match ended decisively, with Fatu losing clean.
After the match, Reigns was making his way up the ramp alongside his crew and took a rare moment to interact with fans lining the barricade. The Tribal Chief is known for staying in character during appearances, with one of the few notable exceptions being when he previously thanked fans publicly for their support.
However, things took an awkward turn in Turin when a fan grabbed Reigns’ hand as he reached toward the crowd near the ramp. The individual appeared to maintain their grip while the champion kept moving forward.
Before Roman Reigns could react, Jey Uso immediately stepped in. Staying fully in character, Uso slapped the fan’s hand away, forcing them to let go and allowing The Tribal Chief to continue walking.
