Is Racing Louisville’s race already run?
Racing Louisville heads into the break in last place for two weeks’ running. Bev Yanez’s side was edged 1-0 by Denver last Friday. They have yet to lose a match this season by more than a goal, yet do not generate enough attacking chances to truly compete, with only two wins and one draw. Last season, Racing punched above its weight and qualified for the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. Yanez maximized the talent she had on a shoestring budget. The 2025 Coach of the Year will need to pull off a miraculous coaching job to get her team to contend again. “This break can’t come soon enough for us,” Taylor Flint said. “We need to just have a lot of internal conversations and regroup and start fresh after the break.”
