As previously reported, wrestling legend Mick Foley has signed with AEW ahead of the 2026 Double or Nothing pay-per-view event. There has been much speculation about whether Foley will wrestle a match for AEW, and Foley himself believes he could have one final match with the company.
According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, sources within AEW suggest that Foley is determined to have one more match, and it will be with AEW. The report also mentioned that AEW President and CEO Tony Khan is eager to arrange the match, provided Foley is medically cleared to compete.
Furthermore, it was noted that AEW World Champion MJF has already begun developing a storyline with Foley, even before AEW officially launched its television show, Dynamite, on October 2, 2019. However, it is important to clarify that there has been no confirmation regarding the planning of such a match, Foley’s ability to wrestle, or who he might face if it were to happen.
