Solo Sikoa’s Likeness Seemingly Stolen By Upcoming Wrestling Video Game

Solo Sikoa may have just found himself in the middle of a strange gaming controversy, as his likeness has been stolen by an upcoming video game.

WWE has the WWE 2K series, which is known for recreating WWE Superstars with realistic character models every year. However, an upcoming game called Wrestling Revolution is now getting attention after promotional screenshots on the PlayStation Store appeared to feature a character model that looked a lot like Solo Sikoa.

The game is currently listed for a July 16 release, and one of its main promotional images shows a wrestler with a huge resemblance to Sikoa. The character has similar hair, facial features, tattoos, ring gear, and is even shown doing Sikoa’s signature gesture. The only major visible difference is that the hair appears brown.

Other screenshots from the game also appear to feature AI-generated character screens and in-ring gameplay, which has only made the situation look even stranger. The game’s description promotes it as a fast-paced wrestling title with multiple modes.

“Step into the arena and rise through the ranks in Wrestling Revolution, a fast-paced wrestling game featuring Training Mode, a 10-fight Arena Story Mode, and intense Survival Mode. Build your fighter, defeat powerful rivals, earn rewards, unlock wrestlers, and prove you have what it takes to become the next champion.”

Neither WWE nor Solo Sikoa has publicly commented on the game’s promotional image yet, but the screenshot is already enough to get people talking. If the resemblance is intentional, Wrestling Revolution may have some explaining to do before it even launches.

Do you think this game copied Solo Sikoa’s likeness, or is the resemblance just a coincidence? Let us know your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
