BANGKOK, Thailand — The Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) has officially launched the AVC Gala 2026, a landmark celebration designed to honor the athletes, coaches, and referees who delivered exceptional performances throughout the 2025 AVC season.
Created with the mission of celebrating Asian volleyball excellence, the inaugural AVC Gala recognizes the individuals whose achievements, dedication, and contributions have helped elevate the sport across the continent.
Fans from around Asia can now take part in the selection process through public voting, which runs from June 8 to June 30, 2026, via the official AVC Gala website at avcgala.com.
The AVC Gala 2026 features awards across multiple categories, including Outstanding Player in Men’s Volleyball, Women’s Volleyball, Men’s Beach Volleyball, and Women’s Beach Volleyball, as well as Volleyball Coach of the Year and Referee of the Year. Fans will also have the opportunity to determine the winners of the Fans’ Choice Awards in both Volleyball and Beach Volleyball.
For the Outstanding Player, Coach of the Year, and Referee of the Year categories, winners will be determined through a combined voting system consisting of 70 percent AVC Committee votes and 30 percent public votes. The Fans’ Choice Awards will be decided entirely by fan voting.
The launch of the AVC Gala marks another milestone in AVC’s continuing efforts to recognize excellence and inspire future generations of athletes and officials across Asia. By providing a platform that celebrates outstanding achievements both on and off the court, the initiative aims to further strengthen the connection between volleyball’s stars and the passionate fans who support them.

The winners will be announced during the 1st AVC Gala Awards Night on August 8, 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand, where the continent’s volleyball community will come together to celebrate the achievements of the 2025 season.
Beyond voting, AVC encourages fans to rally behind their favorite nominees on social media. Supporters can share their messages, memorable moments, and predictions using the hashtag #AVCGala2026 and by tagging @avcvolley, helping celebrate the achievements of Asia’s volleyball stars and further amplifying the spirit of the inaugural AVC Gala.
