The June 8 episode of WWE RAW took place at the Accor Arena in Paris, France. The nigth was full of big announcements as the company prepares for whatever is next. That included some breaking news.
Michael Cole announced during WWE RAW this week that aspecial edition of Sunday Night Main Event has just been announced for September 6th at All State Arena, Atlanta. The usual branding of Saturday Night’s Main Event is now scratched out to include Sunday in the day’s place.
This shakes up WWE’s original plan. WWE Money in the Bank 2026 will no longer take place in Atlanta. Instead, the premium live event is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Originally planned for September, the Money in the Bank event was pushed back one month, making it the first Money in the Bank event in WWE history to be held in October. We will have to see if WWE finds a long-term spot for the yearly event.
Only time will tell what WWE brings to the table in September. Fans will certainly be expecting a big show in October as Money in the Bank lands on a new month.
