Double world indoor medallist Blanca Hervas will be in action in the women’s 400m in Kladno. Hervas also anchored Spain to silver in the 4x400m at the World Relays in Gaborone, where they set a national record of 3:21.25.
The field events feature three gold medallists from the 2026 European Throwing Cup in Nicosia this March: Germans Steven Richter (discus) and Katharina Maisch (shot put), and Czech favorite Volodymyr Myslyvchuk (hammer).

Two major global champions have been announced for the men’s javelin: two-time world champion Anderson Peters from Grenada and 2016 Olympic champion Thomas Röhler from Germany.
Now 34, Röhler is on the path back to internationally competitive form. His season’s best of 83.33m was his best throw since 2019.

Other top Swedes in action across the program include Carmen Cernjul (3000m), Fanny Roos (shot put), Jonathan Grahn (1500m), Oskar Edlund (400m hurdles), and Thobias Montler (long jump).
