Double world indoor medallist Blanca Hervas will be in action in the women’s 400m in Kladno. Hervas also anchored Spain to silver in the 4x400m at the World Relays in Gaborone, where they set a national record of 3:21.25.

The field events feature three gold medallists from the 2026 European Throwing Cup in Nicosia this March: Germans Steven Richter (discus) and Katharina Maisch (shot put), and Czech favorite Volodymyr Myslyvchuk (hammer).

Maisch will renew her rivalry with Portugal's Jessica Inchude, who finished second behind her at the European Throwing Cup, a reversal of the result from the 2025 edition.There will also be a strong British contingent in action in Kladno, including Sam Reardon (400m), Justin Davies (800m), Scott Lincoln (shot put), and Charlotte Payne (hammer).Live results

Two major global champions have been announced for the men’s javelin: two-time world champion Anderson Peters from Grenada and 2016 Olympic champion Thomas Röhler from Germany.

Now 34, Röhler is on the path back to internationally competitive form. His season’s best of 83.33m was his best throw since 2019.

Reigning European indoor long jump champion Bozhidar Saraboyukov from Bulgaria is among the notable entrants for this jumps-only meeting.

World champion Daniel Ståhl will be back in action on home soil in Sollentuna. He will go head-to-head with European U23 champion Steven Richter from Germany.

Meanwhile, in the women’s discus, Vanessa Kamga will also face strong German opposition from Kristin Pudenz, the silver medallist at the 2022 European Athletics Championships in Munich.
