Brewers Reacts Survey Results: Is it time for Cooper Pratt?

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Brewers fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

In this week’s Reacts survey, we asked fans which of the Brewers’ Triple-A prospects — shortstop Cooper Pratt, utilityman Jett Williams, and outfielder Luis Lara — they’d most like to see called up. After a disappointing first third of the season from the left side of Milwaukee’s infield, it probably comes as no surprise that Pratt came out on top with 53% of the vote. Lara garnered 28% and Williams got 19% of the vote.

With Pratt and Lara both locked up long term, it’s just a matter of when the Brewers feel they’re ready for the majors. If you ask Paul (or honestly anyone else on the BCB staff), the time is now.

All three players are with the Triple-A Nashville Sounds, and succeeding:

Cooper Pratt: .252/.363/.405, 6 HR, 6 2B, 4 3B, 32 RBI, 33 R, and 17-for-18 on SB over 55 games, plus strong defense

Luis Lara: .332/.448/.486, 7 HR, 8 2B, 2 3B, 28 RBI, 52 R, and 20-for-24 on SB over 59 games, plus strong defense

Jett Williams: .229/.342/.367, 6 HR, 7 2B, 4 3B, 31 RBI, 45 R, and 13-for-16 on SB over 63 games, plus average defense

Oh, and here are there spring training stats from this year, if you’d like a bit more of a peak at how they’ve done against closer to major league-level pitching:

Pratt: .294/.405/.294, 0 XBH, 4 RBI, 10 R, and 2-for-2 on SB over 18 games

Lara: .262/.354/.333, 3 2B, 5 RBI, 7 R, and 0-for-2 on SB over 21 games

Williams: .333/.455/.556, 2 2B, 1 3B, 3 RBI, 3 R, and 2-for-2 on SB over nine games

Why (and when) do you think Pratt (or Lara or Williams) should be called up? Weigh in in the comments, and be sure to use FanDuel Sportsbook for all of your sports betting needs.
