Tyson Fury has called for his brother Tommy to be in a world title fight next.

Fury was ringside at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday, to watch his younger brother, Tommy overcome Eddie Hall in their heavyweight exhibition bout.

The two-time heavyweight world champion believes the 27-year-old former Love Island star should aim for a clash with WBC cruiserweight world champion, Noel Mikaelian, who has been ordered to face unified titlist, David Benavidez.

“Tommy is a real fighter,” Fury told IFLTV.

“I’d like [WBC president] Mauricio Sulaiman to rank him in the top 15 in the light heavyweight or cruiserweight division.

“I think Tommy would have a good fight with Noel Mikaelian.

“I think Tommy has the ability to beat him.

“Tommy comes from the Fury family. Big name, big following.

“He got that top 15 ranking when he beat Jake Paul and he should be able to get it again.

“I think a world title shot for Tommy next maybe.”

The 37-year-old was in attendance at the White House on Sunday for UFC Freedom 250.

‘The Gypsy King’ was pictured alongside Zuffa Boxing head, Dana White, who has claimed he will be promoting his fight with Anthony Joshua.

Fury teased a “massive announcement” from White, however the 56-year-old refused to give it away when speaking to reporters after the event.

“For the last couple of weeks I’ve been hearing from the media and other people that I’m not involved in the fight,” the 56-year-old said.

“I’ve been hearing that Tyson Fury couldn’t get out of the country and couldn’t get into the United States and it just seems like everyone’s always wrong.

“We’ll make an announcement soon.”
