Ferrari, Aston Martin and Cadillac were in action at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Tuesday, developing slicks for next season.
In the morning, the teams tried various structural solutions for the C2 compound with eight-lap performance runs. In the afternoon, the best options were instead tested over long distances.
Track temperatures reached 57 degrees C, while air temperatures were 34 degrees C.
At Ferrari, Charles Leclerc completed 134 laps, with a best time of 1:16.619, Jak Crawford, at the wheel of the Aston Martin, covered 146 laps, with a fastest time of 1:23.709 and Zhou Guanyu completed 54 laps for Cadillac, however due to technical issues he stopped the clock at 1:21.543.
Testing continues today (Wednesday) with only Ferrari and the American team. Zhou will remain at the wheel of the Cadillac, while Leclerc will be replaced by his brother Arthur.
