India Sioux Retains CMLL Japan Title, Tessa Wins Herederas Cup!

Hola a todxs and welcome to the CMLL Weekly Review! This week we had a new edition of FantasticaMania featuring CMLL and NJPW talent and the Father’s day celebration with the 2026 Herederas Cup!

On Friday night the only women’s match of the Fantasticamania Event saw the reigning CMLL Japan Women’s Champion India Sioux successfully defeating Rina in a competitive one on one encounter.

After both winning their respective matches to qualify to the finals for the 2026 Heredera Cup! The former tag partners Lluvia and Tessa Blanchard came face to face during CMLL Informa.

With Lluvia talking about her resentment towards Tessa vacating the CMLL tag titles and for leaving her alone. Tessa explained her actions and confirmed that for now she has chosen CMLL over TNA.

On Sunday night, during Father’s Day Lluvia and Tessa went at it, with their previous feelings and resentments of each other being more noticeable than ever, both trying not only to win the match and the cup but to proudly celebrate their father’s legacy.

This time, it was Tessa’s Time, with her winning the match and the 2026 Herederas Cup!

STARDOM Rina also made appearances during the week, including a one on one match defeating Garra Negra under ten minutes.

As always you can watch CMLL Glamour Tuesdays for free via Youtube, this week it featured a mini tournament with Hécate, Tabata, Rina, Princesa Águila, Dulce Kitty, Náutica, Ivanna and Dominia.
