The Americans Ruled at Lenzerheide Today

U.S. riders won five different events

In checking the results from the Lenzerheide World Cup today, we saw that American riders had some of the best results we’ve seen in one day of World Cup competition.

America’s Savilia Blunk won the Elite Women’s Short Track Cross-country  (XCC) event.

America’s Ryan Pinkerton won the first round of the Elite Men’s Downhill Qualifiers.

America’s Luca Shaw won the second round of the Elite Men’s Downhill Qualifiers.

America’s Anna Newkirk won the first round of the Elite Women’s Downhill Qualifiers.

America’s Aletha Ostgaard won the Junior Women’s Downhill Qualifiers.

and America’s Bjorn Riley took third in the Elite Men’s Short Track Cross-country  (XCC) event.

For those who are interested in the 32-inch wheel size, Alessandra Keller rode her Thomas-maxon bike with 32-inch wheels and placed third in the Elite Women’s Short Track (XCC) event today, earning the first World Cup medal ever won by a rider on a 32-inch bike.
