Scottish middleweight prospect Sam Hickey will box again in Dublin on August 8.
Fresh off a stunning knockout of Todd Tomkins in Bournemouth on June 6, the 26-year-old faces Brad Axe at the 3Arena on the Zuffa Boxing bill topped by the vacant IBF middleweight title fight between Aaron McKenna and Etinosa Oliha with Callum Walsh’s bout against Tyler Denny in the 10-round co-feature.
Dundee’s Hickey improved to 5-0 (2 KOs) while Axe is 5-1 but he’s on a run of four wins, including an eight-round decision over Kevin Reavell in May.
