Enzo Amore did not shut the door on a reunion with Big Cass, but he also made it very clear that he is not the one holding the pencil.
During a conversation with Emilio Sparks, Enzo talked about his bond with Big Cass and how important Cass was to his WWE journey. Enzo admitted he came into WWE not knowing the business, the lingo, or the backstage rules, and Cass helped guide him through it.
That led Emilio to ask the question a lot of fans still want answered: will Enzo and Cass ever reunite in a Fourth Rope wrestling ring? Enzo kept it short.
“I’m not the booker.”
Emilio immediately pointed out that an Enzo and Cass reunion would be “licensed to print money,” because the two will always be tied together in wrestling history. Enzo did not deny that at all. Instead, he made it clear that the bond between them is still very real. Then Enzo took it even further, describing Cass like family.
“F** yeah. He’s my best buddy. I mean, we play three fantasy football leagues.”*
“He’s my brother. He’s my hawk. I’m his animal. You know what I mean?”
That is not exactly a confirmation, but it is also not a denial. Enzo knows the money is there, and he knows fans still connect him and Cass together. The only thing he would say is that he is not the booker, which keeps the door open without promising anything.
For now, Enzo is playing it coy. He is not booking the show, but he is still close with Cass, and he did not act like a reunion is impossible.
