The Clippers have guaranteed Kris Dunn’s $5.7 million salary for the 2026-27 season, ensuring the veteran guard remains on the roster.
Dunn signed a three-year contract with Los Angeles in 2024 as part of a sign-and-trade with the Jazz.
The final season of the deal was initially non-guaranteed but became fully guaranteed after the deadline passed.
He also had an opportunity to trigger the guarantee earlier by earning All-Defensive honors, though he narrowly missed out.
The 32-year-old continued to play a major role for the Clippers, starting most of the season while appearing in all 82 games.
He averaged 7.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 steals in 27.2 minutes per game.
Dunn is now eligible to sign a contract extension this offseason. If the two sides do not reach a new agreement, he will become an unrestricted free agent next summer.
