Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif vented towards Virat Kohli as he got ran-out due to his carelessness on the first day of the Test in Mumbai. Kohli made a wrong judgement at the non-striker’s side, which led to a direct hit from Matt Henry resulting in him being dismissed.
Kohli started his innings with a boundary, but his strong start was unfortunately cut down by the run-out. As the day was coming towards it’s end, Kohli being dismissed caused Indian team to be in a cautious position.
Mohammad Kaif shared his disappointment on ‘X’. He stated that such errors should not be made if India is aiming to reach the finals of the World Test Championship.
Virat Kohli in this series has been clean bowled to a full toss and now this error of judgement to be run out. This needs to change if India needs to reach the WTC final.
