Two Stars Advance In John Cena’s Last Time Is Now Tournament

One half of the semifinals of John Cena’s Last Time is Now Tournament has been set following tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

During Friday’s episode of SmackDown, Jey Uso faced off against Rusev in a big match to advance to the next round of the tournament. Rusev looked to make short work of Uso, but Uso ended up gaining momentum late.

Toward the end of the match, Jey hit a big spear. However, he was hit with a Machka Kick as he went for a splash. Uso kicked out of the resulting pin, and locked in The Accolade hold after. Uso got out of it, and then hit Rusev with another spear and then hit the Uso Splash for the win.

Later on in the night, LA Knight faced off against The Miz in the tourney. The Miz was replacing the injured Sheamus in the quarterfinals. In a relatively quick match, Knight was able to punch his ticket into the next round. The match came to an end after Knight ended things with a BFT. Now, Knight will face off against Jey Uso in the semifinals on Monday’s episode of WWE RAW.

On the other side of the bracket, Gunther and Solo Sikoa will face off, and it’ll either be Uso or Knight and Sikoa or Gunther who move on to the finals.
