Jordon Hudson blasts double standards over Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini ‘affair’ scandal: ‘What is going on?’

Jordon Hudson has seemingly criticized people for being ‘awkward’ about the Dianna Russini scandal amid the shockwaves over her relationship with Mike Vrabel.

Russini resigned from her role as an NFL reporter at the Athletic days after denying she was having an affair with the New England Patriots coach when pictures emerged in early May of them holding hands at an adults-only resort in Arizona.

Vrabel, when he eventually broke his silence, didn’t admit to having an affair but started attending counseling and said he wants to set a better example as a husband, father and coach.

As the frenzy surrounding Russini, who was spotted by the Daily Mail on a night out with her husband in Manhattan on Saturday night, and Vrabel’s alleged affair continues, Hudson has taken aim at members of the media for appearing to skirt around the topic.

The 25-year-old girlfriend of Bill Belichick, 74, reposted a video on X which shows broadcasters, radio hosts and sports analysts seemingly shying away from discussing the scandal – and calling them out for having double standards.

A caption for the post also reads: ‘A montage of people in the media being awkward about covering the Mike Vrabel – Dianna Russini story.

‘Compare this to coverage of the ColdPlay couple, Bill Belichick-Jordon Hudson, Ime Udoka, Rex Ryan, and Sherrone Moore. What is going on?’

As the post references, Hudson knows all too well about being at the center of controversy after entering a relationship with Belichick, who is almost 50 years her senior.

The former cheerleader has clashed with Belichick’s family since their romance began, with the legendary coach’s daughter-in-law reportedly exploding at her in public last year amid fears over her level of control over Belichick.

Russini and her husband were out in New York on Saturday without a care in the world, living it up with a big group of friends at a bar next to Madison Square Garden before Bruce Springsteen’s latest show in the city.

The NFL insider and husband Kevin Goldschmidt, a Shake Shack executive, were joined by a large group of around 10-15 friends at the Bourbon and Branch Bar – a popular spot for fans to gather before shows at MSG.

A witness told Daily Mail that the couple looked in good spirits and their group was very excitable as they shared drinks and food as people gathered before the show. There was no suggestion that they were struggling after being involved in a scandal that is still sending shockwaves across the NFL.

‘They were having a great time,’ the witness said. ‘They were having a blast with a big group of friends. Lots of food and drinks ordered to their table and they were very carefree given everything that has gone on.

‘Russini and her husband were sat opposite each other. That bar gets busy before shows but she didn’t seem to care if anyone might have recognized her.’

Russini, who lives in Springsteen’s home state of New Jersey, vehemently denied having an affair with Vrabel, who is also married, and in her resignation letter to bosses at the New York Times-owned Athletic insisted she would not let her career be defined by the bombshell pictures.

Married father-of-two Vrabel, however, struck a different tone when he finally faced the media ahead of the NFL draft in late April.

‘I take accountability for my actions and the actions that caused a distraction to the people that I care most about – my family, this football team, this organization and our fans,’ he said.

Vrabel later started counseling, missing day three of the draft and admitting he wanted to set a better example as a husband, father and head coach.
