Right, thats it from me for today! I will be back tomorrow morning, kicking off the last day of the Thanksgiving weekend sales and bringing you all the best Cyber Monday Cycling Deals.
Goodnight.
Probably the last serious bike-related post before I press the pause button on this until tomorrow morning.
They are also throwing in some freebies when you spend $50 or $100.
We also know that the Zwift sale will end tomorrow. So, it’s worth securing your Wahoo Kickr Core 2 or Zwift Ride before then. Again, direct with Zwift.
Recapping Sunday
Right, it’s just coming up for 10 pm here in the UK, nearly time for me to call it a day. However, for our American counterparts, it’s largely still afternoon or early evening. So, let’s have a quick recap on what’s happened today.
The Sunday of the Thanksgiving weekend is a bit of an odd one, as we wait to see which retailers shift to Cyber Monday cycling deals from Black Friday. For many, this is mostly a renaming job; however, we do regularly see some price changes as we head into Monday.
It’s usually where retailers tend to remove offers that are now low on stock and go deeper on ones that haven’t worked, or if we are lucky, introduce new ones.
Easily the biggest deal of the day again goes to Hannah and Garmin for this Epix Pro deal—an enormous saving of over $500. Hannah genuinely had to ask if Garmin knew about this.
A deal that’s suddenly getting a ton of traction in the shift from Black Friday to Cyber Monday is the Garmin Edge 1040. This deal has been floating around all week. Hannah spotted that a few retailers here in the UK are having a bit of back-and-forth over who will go the lowest.
Either way, it’s great for you guys and girls looking for a deal on one of the best bike computers.
A little while back, Logan not only put six tyres to the test, but really went deep into why this trend is emerging and what big MTB tyres actually bring to the gravel party. You can read all about it in his article, aptly titled ‘Bigger is better: the gravel tyre test you should all be paying attention to in 2025’.
If you are already convinced by the bigger is better trend, then here are a couple of deals on MTB tyres from that test:
Schwalbe Rick XC – Amazon US, has the Rick down 28%, which makes them less than $75 a tyre.
Maxxis Aspen ST – Jenson USA has the Aspen ST at 25% off. Bringing them under $70
🥶 Trending winter cycling deals
To kind of finish the thread on riding in the rain and ultimately winter cycling, there are two winter cycling deals that are trending right now, you should check out!
Speaking of Rook, being based in the PNW has understandably been off this weekend, enjoying the holiday weekend and some well-earned rest. Being based in the PNW does mean that she reviews a lot of products that work for us here in the UK, too, primarily because it rains a lot, just like grey old Blighty.
Something Rook and I share in common is that we both controversially ride in waterproof pants. They’re not cool, I know! They are noisy, but honestly, I just prefer to be dry and warm.
I am currently testing the Gorewear Lupra Gore-Tex trousers at the moment, and they are pretty decent. I am still on the fence about their breathability, but the articulation is excellent. Once on the bike, they are among the best-fitting waterproof pants I have ever used.
There is a ton of colour options available, and they will do a custom one if you feel like you really want to treat someone.
For our US readers, while they aren’t on offer you can get the Win Wing 2 Gravel via Amazon, but they are only $30, so why not!
Matt here, after a quick page switch over, we are back! And… I’m back, for another evening in the saddle, bringing you all the best Cyber Monday cycling deals for 2025.
Now we are officially into Cyber Monday, we have a lot to talk about. First up, I am going to follow a train of thought that Adam had over on our Black Friday cycling deals page about mudguards and fenders, which could double up as a good stocking filler.
