Zéfal has shared news that it has become the official supplier of l’Étape du Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift – with a new 3-year partnership.
The partnership is seen as an opportunity for Zéfal to strengthen its involvement in cycling and especially in women’s cycling. In 2025, women represented 32 % of registered people, which is three times more than the average number of women registered for cyclosportives. The announcement highlights that “Zéfal intends to ensure that this figure continues to rise.”
In sharing the news, Thomas Delpeuch – Director of General Public Events at Amaury Sport Organisation reflects: “We are pleased to welcome Zéfal as Official Supplier of L’Étape du Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift from 2026.
With its historical savoir-faire and its proximity to all cyclists, Zéfal has been perpetuating for more than a century a French savoir-faire at the service of all cyclists and fully shares our ambition to offer each participant a safe, friendly and inspiring experience.
“Their presence at the exhibitors’ fair of the event, their technical advice and their actions around safety and good equipment will help to accompany the cyclists, especially the first-time participants, throughout their preparation and their adventure.
“Together, we have the desire to encourage an increasingly accessible and committed cycling practice, faithful to the spirit of L’Étape du Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.”
L’Étape du Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift is the event that allows amateur cyclists to enjoy an experience similar to that of the professional cyclists by riding on the roads of the queen stage.
Almost 10.000 participants are expected on August 6, 2026, in Vaison-la-Romaine to reach the summit of the famous « Mont Chauve », the Mont Ventoux: 120km and 3000m of elevation gain.
Zefal will be present on August 4 and 5, 2026, at the exhibitors’ fair in Vaison-la-Romaine.
Commenting on the announcement, Vincent Cabanel – Communication Manager, Zefal, states: “We are delighted to join the adventure of l’Étape du Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift for its second edition, and until 2028.
“The success of the first edition and the important place of women in the event have been the triggers of our arrival. We want to become more committed to women’s cycling, as we already are by being involved with the FDJ-Suez women’s team and the triathlete Léonie Periault.
“Through this partnership, we want to be involved in the participants’ experience, providing them serenity they need thanks to our bicycle accessories.
“We are proud to join a French event that has such an international reach, and we can’t wait to get involved in the next editions!”
