UK trade suppliers, Independent, have announced their new UK distribution partnership with mudguard brand, Mudhugger.

Mudhugger was born when two brothers decided to stay mud-free enough to sit inside the pub after their Thursday night ride. Twelve years and thousands of muddy miles later, Mudhugger is now a global brand with a complete range of rear and front mudguards for 26″, 27.5″, 29″ mountain bikes, E-bikes and gravel bikes. The brand boasts some of the world’s fastest downhill and enduro racers as ambassadors, including the likes of Loic Bruni and Finn Iles.

Stock of the new Front Bolt-On Mudhugger for the 2026 Fox 36 and 34SL forks has just landed in the warehouse in both Shorty and Long versions, ready for immediate dispatch.
Independent says the Long Evo Ziptie version has also been upgraded, increasing the length by 10mm, and like the new Bolt-On, it includes a hidden mud deflector under the nose to disperse mud away from the rider’s line of sight and improve vision on the trails.
