The Boston area is exceptionally dense with high quality championship golf. Experiences like Myopia, The Country Club, Old Sandwich and Boston Golf Club dominate the wish lists of visiting golfers. All of this admiration for the top clubs in the area has left many worthy courses unrecognized. The Donald Ross designed, Concord Country Club is one of those under appreciated Boston Gems.
In July of 2025, I had the opportunity to photograph the golf course over several days before their upcoming renovation takes place.. The club has employed renowned architect Andrew Green to work on the course’s master plan and lead major improvements over the next few years.
