Babes Of Wrath First Challengers Set For AEW Worlds End

AEW Worlds End has just gotten even bigger, with Babes of Wrath officially finding their first challengers for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships.

During Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Athena and Mercedes Moné took part in a massive, eight-woman tag team match. Going up against Toni Storm, Harley Cameron, Willow Nightingale, and Mina Shirakawa, Athena and Moné’s team (which included Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne) won.

Athena and Moné then had something to say backstage. In an interview, the duo challenged the Babes of Wrath to a match at AEW Worlds End, saying they have proven they could win the belts.

AEW Worlds End is set to take place on December 27, 2025, from the Now Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The fully updated card for the pay-per-view is as follows:

  • Continental Classic Semifinal: Blue League winner vs. Gold League runner-up
  • Continental Classic Semifinal: Gold League winner vs. Blue League runner-up
  • Continental Classic Final for the AEW Continental Championship: Semifinal #1 winner vs. Semifinal #2 winner
  • AEW Women’s World Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs. Jamie Hayter
  • AEW World Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Swerve Strickland vs. “Hangman” Adam Page vs. MJF
