AAA TripleMania 34 will officially become a two-night event for the first time in the show’s history following an announcement during WWE Backlash 2026.
The announcement came after the tag team match involving Danhausen and Mascarita Dorada against The Miz and Kit Wilson.

WWE confirmed that AAA TripleMania 34 will take place across two separate nights on Friday, September 11, and Sunday, September 13, 2026.
The company also announced that night two of the event will be held in Mexico City.
However, the location for night one has not yet been revealed.
No matches were announced for the event during the Backlash broadcast, but the company heavily promoted the historic nature of the upcoming show.
This marks the first time TripleMania will expand into a two-night format.
The event continues WWE’s growing relationship with Lucha Libre AAA following the company’s acquisition announcement in 2025.
During WrestleMania 41 weekend last year, WWE officially confirmed its partnership and acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA.
TripleMania 34 will now become the second consecutive TripleMania event to take place under WWE ownership.
Last year’s TripleMania event featured El Hijo del Vikingo defending the AAA Mega Championship against Dominik Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and El Grande Americano in the main event.
AAA programming currently airs every Saturday night on Fox Latin America as well as WWE’s official YouTube channel.
With WWE continuing to integrate AAA more heavily into its global wrestling expansion plans, TripleMania 34 is already shaping up as one of the biggest lucha libre events of 2026.
