Prithvi Shaw has experienced the all-time low of his career, as he has gone from being considered the next big thing in Indian cricket, to not being sold in the IPL auction.
Prithvi’s cricket career has been shaky, as seen by the fact that he was not taken in the Ranji Trophy squad for the match against Tripura. The situation became worse when he failed to get a team for IPL 2025, even though his base price was Rs. 75 lakh.
In a conversation, rising Indian batter Abhishek Sharma talked about his U-19 captain Prithvi Shaw. Abhishek praised the batter and shared his hope for his captain to make a comeback.
“Everyone knows what a great batsman he is. He was our captain. He will make a good comeback, everyone hopes that he will make a comeback soon,” said Abhishek.
“Shubman has achieved a lot for Team India. In such a situation, I got a chance to play and I did not talk much and focused on myself,” he added.
