Adriana Rizzo is officially back in the game after a long absence due to an ACL injury, and this is a big one for WWE NXT.
Rizzo took to her Instagram and revealed she has finally been cleared for her in-ring return. She included a photo of a cake that read, “Congratulations, you are cleared!” which pretty much says it all. This wasn’t just some quick injury break either. Rizzo made it clear she went through a brutal stretch of setbacks before finally getting to this point.
“Guess who’s back… back AGAIN! Three years ago, I tore my left Achilles. A few months after I partially tore my left ACL. Then, in 2025, I tore that same ACL completely, tore my meniscus, and sprained my MCL—all in my left leg.”
That is a lot for anyone to come back from, and Rizzo admitted the whole process had her questioning whether she would ever feel like herself again: “Setback after setback left me feeling like I would never be the same. Today, I can finally say I feel like my old self.”
Rizzo also thanked her surgeon, doctors, athletic trainers, weight room coaches, family, and everyone who helped her get back to this moment. She also gave a special shoutout to Jonah for helping her through the hardest part of the journey.
“Thank you for carrying me through the hardest season of my life. Thank you for every appointment, every encouraging conversation, every moment you reminded me who I was when I had a hard time seeing it myself. I couldn’t have done this without you @cutler_wwe ♡”
Rizzo had been working toward a return for a while after suffering a torn ACL. She was previously seen back at the WWE Performance Center, which was already a good sign that her comeback was moving in the right direction.
Now there’s no more wondering. Adriana Rizzo is cleared, ready, and waiting for WWE NXT to pull the trigger on her return. After everything she went through, fans will definitely be watching closely to see how WWE brings her back into the mix.
