All Elite Wrestling has officially locked in another match for the Buy In show ahead of AEW Double or Nothing, and the lineup is loaded with chaos.
AEW announced that Big Boom AJ and QT Marshall will team with The Conglomeration’s Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe, and Roderick Strong to battle Shane Taylor Promotions members Shane Taylor, Carlie Bravo, Shawn Dean, Lee Moriarty, and Anthony Ogogo during Sunday’s pre-show event.
In AEW’s announcement, the company leaned heavily into the growing tension between the two groups while confirming the massive multi-man match for the Buy In.
“With bad blood between STP & The Conglomeration, Boom & Doom join forces with Briscoe, Roddy & OC vs STP on Sunday.”
The match marks the return of Boom & Doom to AEW programming following Big Boom AJ’s last appearance during Revolution Zero Hour, where the duo defeated The Infantry.
The Buy In special is already shaping up to be stacked before the pay-per-view even officially begins. As previously announced, Mick Foley and Renee Paquette are also set to host the Double or Nothing pre-show coverage.
AEW has continued loading Double or Nothing weekend with recognizable names and faction warfare, and this latest addition only adds more unpredictability to an already packed card.
Do you think AEW’s Buy In shows work best with massive multi-man matches like this, or would you rather see more singles showcase bouts before the pay-per-view? Let us know your thoughts and leave your feedback in the comments.
