AEW/CMLL star ‘out indefinitely’ following mist angle on 4/26 Collision

Before Saturday’s AEW Collision went live on the air, Tony Khan announced that AEW/CMLL star Persephone is ‘out indefinitely.’

AEW did an angle during last week’s (4/26) episode of Collision that saw Julia Hart spray mist in the face of Persephone.

Khan also said Persephone is out of all future AEW and CMLL matches and will compete in the first-ever Women’s Survival of the Fittest Match for the ROH Women’s Championship at Supercard of Honor PPV on Friday, May 15, live from Wicomico Youth and Civic Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Khan further noted Zayda Steel will face Hyan to determine who will replace Persephone.

Maya World, Trish Adora, Yuka Sakazaki, Billie Starks and Persephone all won their qualifying matches for the chance to defeat Athena, who has held the ROH Women’s Championship for over 1200 days.
