AEW World Championship (No Count-Outs)
MJF (c) vs. RUSH
The show kicks off with an earlier today segment that shows Renee Paquette backstage in the interview zone with RUSH. He assures her he is ready for his biggest opportunity yet as he gets his first AEW World Championship opportunity tonight.
He goes to finish with his “When you mess with the bull” catchphrase, when MJF appears and slaps him. They brawl and security breaks things up. Inside the arena, pyro erupts as Excalibur mentions the scene we just saw took place earlier today and set up our opening contest, a no count out match.
The commentators run down the full lineup for tonight’s show. Backstage, Paquette is with RUSH live in his ring gear when Andrade El Idolo walks up and gives him one final pep talk to hype him up. He walks off and his theme hits. He makes his way out to the ring for this high stakes opener.
From there, reigning and defending AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman makes his way out. MJF heads down to the ring and then things get underway soon after. They exchange shots and Rush gains the advantage, but MJF spits in his face.
MJF delivers a strike, but Rush sends him to the outside and drops him with a dive over the top. Rush spits in MJF’s face now, and then slams him into the barricade a few times. Rush puts MJF in a chair, wraps a camera cable around his throat, and delivers right hands.
Rush backs away and charges, but MJF trips him into the chair before sending him over the barricade. MJF brings Rush back and charges, but Rush counters with a back-body drop. Rush gets MJF back into the ring and rips one of the turnbuckle pads off.
Rush delivers an elbow strike and stomps MJF down in the corner, Rush goes for the Horns, but MJF ducks under the bottom rope. Rush delivers a body shot and an elbow strike and tries to slam MJF into the exposed turnbuckle, but the referee gets in the way.
MJF counters and slams Rush’s head into it after Rush got the referee out of the way. Rush has been busted open and MJF applies a rear choke. Rush gets free and delivers a few shots, but MJF comes back with a spine-buster and works over the wound on Rush’s head.
Rush counters back and sends MJF’s head into the exposed turnbuckle behind the referee’s back. Rush delivers quick shots and follows with splashes in the corners before delivers a German suplex and a lariat for a two count. Rush delivers a dropkick, but MJF comes back with a jackknife for a two count.
MJF stomps on Rush’s arm and follows with a powerbomb/back-breaker combination over his knee for a two count. MJF applies Salt of the Earth, but Rush makes it to the ropes. MJF puts Rush on the apron and goes for the Heatseeker, but Rush counters out and delivers a headbutt.
Rush delivers a piledriver on the apron. On that note, the show shifts gears and settles into a mid-match commercial break as the action continues. When the show returns, we see the action still in progress. Rush drops the ringside doctor with a headbutt and gets MJF back into the ring.
Rush stomps MJF in the corner and delivers the Horns. Rush goes for the cover, but MJF gets his hand on the rope to stop the count. Rush gets MJF against the barricade and charges for a dropkick, but MJF dodges and delivers a jumping Tombstone on a piece of the barricade.
MJF gets Rush back to the ring, but Rush shoves him away. MJF grabs his knee and Rush goes up top. Rush goes for a missile dropkick, but MJF dodges and applies a cross-face. Rush doesn’t tap, but smirks at MJF and flips him off before passing out.
Once thigs wrap up in the actual match, MJF goes to hit Rush with the title, but Mark Briscoe hits the ring to stop him. MJF hits a low-blow on Briscoe and sets up to hit him with the belt, but the Conglomeration hit the ring to make the save.
Winner and STILL AEW World Champion: MJF
Mark Briscoe vs. Lio Rush
Rush runs the ropes, but Briscoe catches him with an enzuigiri. Briscoe sends Rush to the corner and charges, but Rush kicks him in the face. Briscoe comes back with a clothesline to the floor. Rush gets back on the apron, but Briscoe delivers quick strikes and sends him to the floor.
Rush chases Briscoe around the ring, and then Briscoe gets back in. Rush follows, but Briscoe sends him out and delivers a scissor kick through the ropes. Briscoe drops Rush with a neck-breaker as the show heads to a commercial.
The show returns and we see Rush drops Briscoe with a dive on the outside and gets him back into the ring. Rush goes for a frogsplash, but Briscoe dodges. Rush delivers quick strikes and drops Briscoe with a stunner off the ropes for a two count.
Rush delivers a few right hands, but Briscoe comes back with palm strikes and a flying forearm. Briscoe delivers a corner clothesline and follows with an overhead throw. Briscoe delivers another shot in the corner and slams Rush from the top for a two count.
Briscoe delivers a clothesline and goes for the Jay Driller, but Rush counters into a jackknife for a two count. Rush delivers an enzuigiri, but Briscoe comes back and delivres the Cut-Throat Driver for the pin fall and the victory.

Mark Briscoe With A Message For MJF
The match wraps up and Briscoe grabs a mic and says he wants to address MJF. Briscoe says his brother was gone in the blink of an eye in January 2023, and he found himself making his debut in AEW alone a few days later. Briscoe says AEW might have saved his life, but he couldn’t find any joy until he found some friends in the Conglomeration.
Briscoe says he and MJF eventually crossed paths, and the anger and rage he had came back to the surface. Briscoe says he pinned MJF in the middle of the ring and caused him to go away. Briscoe says he felt good again, but then MJF came back and so did the rage. Briscoe says MJF has something that he wants, the AEW World title.
Briscoe says MJF complains until he gets what he wants, while he shows up and grinds every day. Briscoe says he is calling MJF out and says it’s cute that MJF calls himself “the Devil.” Briscoe says he doesn’t know if MJF has read ‘the book,’ but he loses, and then tells MJF to give him a title shot.
Thekla Still At War With Stardom
The Triangle of Madness show up in the crowd and walk to the stage. Thekla says she made a promise that if one person from Stardom showed up in AEW, she would burn that company to the ground. Thekla says everyone in that company made her sick, so she had to take them all out.
Thekla says she did get fired from Japan, so now they have to do it all over again. Thekla says Skye Blue has to win the Owen Hart Tournament, Julia Hart has to get her TBS title back, and she has her eyes on the upcoming Forbidden Door.
Hart and Blue grab a ladder, and Thekla says she is going to close the forbidden door forever. Thekla says she isn’t declaring war on Stardom, but she is declaring death on Stardom. Thekla climbs the ladder and spits on the screen where the Stardom logo is.
Backstage With Will Ospreay & The Death Riders
The Death Riders and Will Ospreay are backstage. Jon Moxley tells Ospreay that Mark Davis has been occupying space in his mind lately, but that changes tonight.
Moxley tells Ospreay that Davis has never faced this version of Ospreay. Moxley says there are too many groups around here, but he will worry about that and Ospreay just needs to worry about taking care of his business.
Andrade El Idolo vs. Local Wrestler
Idolo delivers a back elbow, and then follows with a spinning version. Andrade goes for the cover, but pulls the guy up at two. Andrade delivers the DM and gets the pin.
Once things wrap up, Andrade says MJF has the World title and he really wants it. Andrade says MJF beat his friend, Rush, and asks MJF if he thinks he can beat him. Don Callis and Jake Doyle come to the ring.
Callis says he has something to say, and introduces the newest member of the Don Callis Family, Kevin Knight.

TNT Championship
Kevin Knight (c) vs. ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey
Back to the ring we go for championship action in a showdown of former partners turned bitter rivals. The bell sounds and off we go. Bailey delivers a few quick strikes and Knight ducks to the floor. Bailey eventually follows him out, but Knight slams him into the ring steps.
Knight follows with an uppercut and slams Bailey into the barricade. Knight gets Bailey back into the ring, but Bailey counters with a few quick shots. Bailey does for the moonsault knee drop, but Knight dodges and goes for a shot.
Bailey sends him off the ropes and they stand at a stalemate. Bailey gets Knight to the floor and drops him with a corkscrew moonsault from the middle rope. Bailey gets Knight back into the ring and comes off the top, but Knight dodges and delivers a dropkick.
Knight delivers rights and lefts as the show heads to a commercial. Back from the break, Bailey delivers a body shot and goes for a DDT, but Knight counters with a suplex and gets a two count. Knight goes for another cover, but Bailey kicks out again.
Knight delivers right hands, but Bailey comes back with shots and connects with a spin kick. Bailey takes Knight down with a kick on the apron and then goes up top, but Knight cuts him off and knocks him to the floor. Knight drops Bailey with a springboard clothesline.
He then brings him back into the ring, but Bailey counters into a roll-up for a two count. Bailey delivers a backflip knee drop and follows with a kick to the head, but only gets a two count. Bailey delivers Time Adventure in the corner.
Knight comes back with a hurricanrana. Knight delivers a back-breaker and goes for the cover, but Bailey kicks out at two. Knight goes for a springboard clothesline, but Bailey counters into a straitjacket cover for a two count to keep things alive.
Bailey kicks Knight in the head and gets him up top, but Doyle distracts the referee as Callis sweeps Bailey’s leg. Knight delivers an avalanche powerbomb from the top and follows with the Crash Landing for the pin fall victory to retain his title.
Once the match wraps up, TNT Champion Kevin Knight says he had to get rid of the weight that was holding him down since he got to AEW. Knight says he joined the Family for one reason, and that’s to get to the top. Knight says he is waiting for MJF.

Backstage With The Dogs & The Young Bucks
We shoot backstage where we see Renee Paquette standing by with The Dogs. Clark Connors says they took out Cage and Cope last week, and then beat the tar of of The Gunns after that. The Young Bucks walk up and call them annoying. Matt Jackson says the Dogs are trying to make an impression.
He says they have, but they are mistaken to think they are next in line for the AEW World Tag Team titles. Matt calls David Finlay the worse Bullet Club leader ever and calls Connors a ‘Temu Hangman’ and then challenges them to a match, but Finlay says they will fight when they feel like it before they walk away.
Women’s Owen Hart Tournament
Alex Windsor vs. Mercedes Mone
Now it’s time for quarterfinal action in the 2026 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, as Alex Windsor will go one-on-one against a mystery wild card opponent to determine who moves on to the semifinals. Who is the wild card? “The CEO,” of course.
Mercedes Mone is back. They lock up and Mone backs Windsor into the corner. Mone delivers a shot, and then slams Windsor down by her hair. Mone follows with a dropkick and goes for the cover, but Windsor kicks out at one to keep things alive.
Windsor comes back with arm-drags and kicks Mone in the face. Mone comes back with a back elbow and delivers an arm-drag of her own. Mone applies a cross-face and eventually delivers a Backstabber for a two count. Mone delivers a running Meteora, but Windsor rolls through and goes for a Sharpshooter.
Mone kicks her away, but Windsor comes back with an elbow strike. Mone comes back with a shot and follows with a back-breaker over the middle rope. Mone delivers a Meteora to the floor as the show heads to a commercial break as the action continues.
When the show returns, we see Mone grab Alex and gets on the second rope. Alex with right hands and she goes for a suplex but Mone with right hands. Mone with the meteora. She goes for the cover but Alex kicks out. Mone with a sunset flip into the corner.
She goes for the double knees in the corner but Alex moves out of the way. Alex goes for the cover but Mone moves out of the way. Alex grabs Mone but Mone with a knee to the face. Mone with a backstabber followed by the Statement Maker and Alex taps out for the win to advance to the semifinals of the tourney.

Women’s Tag Titles On-The-Line This Saturday
Once the women’s Owen Hart Cup action wraps up, we switch gears and shoot to a video package airs for the ongoing feud between Divine Dominion and TayJay. Dominion will defend the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship against TayJay this Saturday on AEW Collision.
Backstage With The Don Callis Family
Backstage, Renee Paquette talks with Don Callis, who is with Kazuchika Okada. Callis says he has recruited several top stars and he is a magnet for gold. Callis says Knight will be a top guy for a long time with his help, and then says Davis is going to break Ospreay’s neck and put him in the ground.
Don Callis says Davis is going to win the 2026 Owen Hart Tournament and march into the AEW World title match at All In. Okada says Konosuke Takeshita is nothing without the Family and he won’t be AEW International Champion when all is said-and-done.
Tommaso Ciampa With A Warning For Chris Jericho
Footage of Tommaso Ciampa’s attack on Jericho on last week’s Dynamite airs. Backstage, Ciampa asks where Jericho is, and then says he is at home because he beat the hell out of him last week and will do it again and again and again.
Ciampa says Jericho finally beat Ricochet last week, but then realized that Ciampa was in AEW and decided to cut the head off of the snake. Ciampa says he is patient and will wait on Jericho to return, unless he just decides to pounce first.
Men’s Owen Hart Tournament
Mark Davis vs. Will Ospreay
It’s main event time!
Who is advancing in the men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament? Will it be Will Ospreay or Mark Davis? It’s about time to find out. The ring entrances take place and then the bell sounds to get things officially off-and-running in this tourney tilt.
Straight out of the gate, Ospreay dropkicks Davis’s knee and then works over his arm. Davis comes back with a chop, but Ospreay drops him with a hurricanrana. Ospreay delivers right hands in the corner, but Davis comes back with a scoop slam.
Davis delivers a back elbow, but Ospreay comes back with a few kicks and runs the ropes. Davis counters with a back-body drop and follows with a running senton. Ospreay comes back with a handspring kick and follows with a springboard elbow strike for a two count.
Ospreay works over Davis’s arm and follows with a dropkick. Ospreay sends Davis to the outside and follows, but Davis sends him into the barricade. Davis goes for a powerbomb, but Ospreay gets on the apron and kicks him in the face.
Ospreay goes up top, but Davis walks around the ring. Ospreay drops him with a hurricanrana and slams him into the commentary table. Ospreay delivers a chop and goes for a DDT, but Davis counters and slams Ospreay onto the table. Davis puts Ospreay in a chair and delivers elbow strikes.
Davis delivers a running elbow against the barricade and gets him back into the ring. Davis puts Ospreay up top and delivers right hands before slamming him with a super-plex as the show heads to a mid-match commercial break as the action continues.
The show returns and we see Davis with a clothesline in the corner. Davis with a back suplex. He goes for the cover but Will kicks out. Davis with a chop to the chest. He grabs Will but Will with right hands and a kick to the side of the head.
Will goes for the cover but Davis kicks out. Will with a German suplex and he goes for the cover but Davis kicks out. Will climbs the top rope and he jumps onto the arm of Davis. Will with an arm bar submission but Davis gets to his feet and powerbombs Will.
Davis with a piledriver. He goes for the cover but Will kicks out. Will rolls onto the ring apron. Davis grabs Will and goes for a piledriver but Will gets out of it. Will with right hands but Davis clotheslines Will. Davis lifts Will up but Will with a hurricanrana onto the outside of the ring.
On that note, we head to another mid-match advertising time out as the tourney tilt continues. The show returns and after a few more minutes of hard-hitting action, Ospreay ends up picking up the win to advance. With the win, we wait to find out if his opponent will be Brody King or Swerve Strickland. We’ll find out next week in Cincinnati, OH. when the two meet at AEW Summer Blockbuster.
