A total of 22 Welsh-qualified players featured on the final weekend of the Gallagher Prem regular season, underlining the depth of Welsh talent currently earning its living across the English game.
Across the season, nearly 60 Welsh-qualified players, including several members of senior academy programmes, were involved with Gallagher Prem clubs.
Those players will not have escaped the attention of Wales head coach Steve Tandy, who has openly admitted he intends to cast a wide net as he assesses the available talent ahead of a crucial period for the national side.
The list of Welsh-qualified players playing in England is below. There are others not included who have Welsh eligibility but are currently involved with other international sides and would only be able to switch nations after a stand down period of three years. They include England’s Henry Arundell and Immanuel Feyi-Waboso.
Bath
Louie Hennessey
The 22-year-old won his first Wales cap during the Six Nations and has enjoyed a breakthrough season with Bath.
Archie Griffin
The 24-year-old is a regular in Steve Tandy’s matchday 23 but has been behind Thomas du Toit and Will Stuart in the Bath pecking order.
Thompson Cowan
A former Wales U20s backrower, Cowan is a wider squad player with Bath.
Chris Harris
The 35-year-old former Scotland and British & Irish Lions centre also qualifies for Wales through a grandparent.
Ieuan Davies
A former Wales U20s player who spent this season on loan at Bath.

Ioan Emanuel
Wales U20s loosehead Emanuel is a fine prospect and spent this season on loan at Cardiff.
Isaac Mears
The son of former England and Lions hooker Lee Mears who qualifies for Wales courtesy of his mother.
Harrison James
James is part of the senior Bath academy and the young centre has also represented Wales U18s.

After being turned down by Welsh teams and dropped by the Ospreys academy, the Welsh full-back has grabbed his chance at Bristol after coming through the BUCS programme.

The Wales U20s tighthead has played much of his rugby for Dings Crusaders in National One this season but is very highly rated.

Jones is a very talented outside-half who has played for Wales at age grade level. He will be leaving the senior Harlequins academy at the end of the season and would be a good signing for a Welsh region.
Seb Driscoll
The 23-year-old backrower was born in Surrey but his father is Welsh. Driscoll has previously represented Wales U20s.
Joe Jones
The Welsh tighthead spent the latter part of the season at Harlequins but has been released.
Luke Yendle
The 25-year-old spent part of the season on loan at Harlequins from the Dragons but won’t be at the Stoop next season.
