It’s been a weird year for World Cup downhill. First, Wyn Masters broke his arm after hitting another rider in practice in South Korea. Then Troy Brosnan somehow surived a scary high-speed crash into another riders bike in Leogang. On Thursday, Marco Lamais nearly joined that list. While riding in practice in Lenzerheide, Lamais narrowly avoided a collision with, of all things, a course vehicle at a road crossing near the top of the course.
Lamais is very lucky (read: very skilled) to have avoided that one. Half a second later and that would have been much worse.
Watch below. Then find out the best way to watch racing this weekend.
