Mike Trout may be with the Los Angeles Angels, but he holds a special place in his heart for the city of Philadelphia. A big reason for that is his intense fandom for the Philadelphia Eagles.
On Friday, a new Topps trading card was released featuring Trout in Eagles garb, per Topps. He was recognized for having the finest fan autographs.

Trout grew up a huge fan of the Phillies and, naturally, the Eagles in Millville, New Jersey. He is a season ticket holder and frequently attends games at Lincoln Financial Field. Trout has also developed close friendships with former Philadelphia players Carson Wentz and Zach Ertz.
In 2017, then-Philadelphia WR Torrey Smith and his teammates imitated him in the end zone with baseball moves after scoring a touchdown.
That season, Trout was in attendance at the 2018 NFC Championship, where the Eagles defeated the Minnesota Vikings 38-7. Eventually, Philadelphia went on to win the Super Bowl over the New England Patriots 41-33.
In December 2024, Trout was given the game ball by Philadelphia defensive end Darius Slay in a 41-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
In his spare time, Trout also weighs in on what he thinks of the Eagles’ decision-making during the offseason.
Meanwhile, Trout is going on his 15th season with the Angels. He is an 11-time All-Star, 9-time Silver Slugger Award winner, three-time American League MVP, and two-time Hank Aaron Award winner.
Currently, Trout is batting .248 with 27 hits, 10 home runs, and 21 RBIs. The Angels are currently 12-20, last in the American League West Division.
