Tommaso Ciampa is better than Chris Jericho. That’s what Tony Schiavone said. Albeit, he was under coercion from Ciampa to say that. The Psycho Killer continued his mission to fight Jericho, and he made a point by stealing another of the legend’s finishers.
Ciampa made quick work of BEEF to win via Walls of Jericho on Collision (June 6, 2026).
After the match, Ciampa doubled down on the violence with the Walls of Jericho on the floor. The Psycho Killer intimidated Schiavone to praise him as better than Jericho. Ciampa’s message was that Jericho can’t hide forever. He will be waiting for that snake. It’s funny how Ciampa forced Schiavone to utter that statement then treated it as coming from a voice of legitimacy.
Jericho gets no respect. First, Ricochet stole the Ricosault to beat Jericho. Then, Ciampa stole the list of 1,004 reasons to hate on Jericho. Armbar! Now, the Psycho Killer is using Jericho’s signature submission. I look forward to Ciampa renaming the Walls of Jericho in his own honor.
Jericho is bound to return, hopefully sooner than later. When that happens, Ciampa will be champing at the bit for a fight.
