England boss Thomas Tuchel will expect to see his side improve when they face Panama in their final World Cup group stage game on Saturday night.

The Three Lions cruised to an emphatic 4-2 victory over Croatia in their opening but were held to a goalless draw by Ghana in their latest game.

Despite having already secured qualification for the knockout stages, Tuchel will want to see his side return to winning ways against Panama and ensure that they top group L.

Tuchel could make changes to his side for Saturday’s game in New York, especially with Reece James likely to miss the game due to injury.

Morgan Rogers is among those pushing for a starting spot and, if Tuchel does rotate his team, the Aston Villa man could be handed a start.

Away from the action, though, it appear that Rogers is set to be the subject of a huge offer from a Premier League club.

As per Football Insider, Premier League champions Arsenal are preparing a huge offer to sign Rogers from Aston Villa this summer.

The report claims that the Gunners are set to make an opening offer for the midfielder, having identified him as their ‘top transfer target’ for this summer’s window.

Rogers, 23, joined Villa from Championship side Middlesbrough back in 2024 and has since made a huge impression at Villa Park, playing more than 120 times for the club across all competitions.

The midfielder has scored 31 goals and provided 29 assists during that period, and his impressive form at club level has earned him a regular place in the England squad under Thomas Tuchel.

Rogers’ contract with Villa is set to run until the end of the 2030/31 campaign and the Villans are said to be adamant that the player is not for sale, with offers likely to need to be in excess of £100 million in order to persuade them to part ways.
