ATP Geneva Quarterfinal Predictions Including Ruud vs Popyrin

The 2026 edition of the ATP Geneva quarterfinals is all set, and it looks to be a fantastic day for tennis with the top seeds battling it out to stake their claim to reach the semifinals. As ever, we preview and predict all four quarterfinal matches for you. But who will advance?

ATP Geneva Quarterfinal Predictions

Jaume Munar vs Mariano Navone

Head-to-head – First Meeting

This is an interesting matchup between two clay court specialists. Jaume Munar and Mariano Navone both currently hover around rank 40. Apart from their similar rankings, both have had contrasting 2026s so far. Navone already has a title to his name this year, while Munar has mostly struggled in 2026. Despite Munar playing well this week, Navone’s takedown of the third seed Cameron Norrie in the Round of 16 strongly suggests the Argentine is in decent form. Expect Munar to put up a valiant fight, but Navone looks stronger from the baseline at the moment.

Prediction: Navone in 3

Casper Ruud vs Alexei Popyrin

Head-to-head – Ruud 1-1 Popyrin

Casper Ruud is slowly playing himself into peak form right before the French Open, and the Norwegian has started well this week at ATP Geneva. Ruud is yet to drop a set, and he looks extremely likely to make a deep run again. He faces Alexei Popyrin, who played a solid match to defeat the top seed, Taylor Fritz, in straight sets. These two have played twice before, with Ruud winning the most recent one in Monte Carlo this year. Popyrin is highly aggressive, and his mindset is to attack early in rallies; however, it is easier said than done on clay courts. Expect Ruud to continue his winning ways against Popyrin, who will struggle to handle the heavy topspin off of Ruud’s racket.

Prediction: Ruud in 2
