Australian professional wrestler Xena, who has been competing in World Wonder Ring STARDOM, is set to battle HANAKO on Wednesday, July 8th. This match is reportedly against her final opponent before she potentially departs from the Japanese promotion.
According to False Finish, sources within WWE and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide believe that Xena may join WWE after completing her commitments with STARDOM. The report also mentioned that Xena is in a relationship with Daga, who recently returned to AAA as part of the reformed Los Perros del Mal stable. This new faction took out El Grande Americano during the closing moments of Saturday’s AAA show.
Xena made her in-ring debut in the Australian independent circuit in October 2018. She debuted in STARDOM in March 2023 and went on to win the Artist of Stardom Championship alongside Maika and Mina Shirakawa. WWE has been a common destination for several STARDOM stars in the past, and the current roster includes several former STARDOM talents, such as IYO SKY, Giulia, and Blake Monroe.
