Here are the results for Thursday’s Stage 6 in the BC Bike Race
Judging from the finish times, Stage 6 came down to a five-man sprint to the finish line among the Open Men. The top five riders all finished within 2 seconds of each other after one hour and 33 minutes of racing.
The overall race leaders, Nino Schurter and Peter Disera, placed fourth and fifth in the final two seconds of the race, but their overall lead in the standings was safe.
Among the Solo Open Women, Ruth Holcomb narrowly beat Hannah Simms by 0.2 seconds.
Katerina Nash finished almost 7 minutes behind Holcomb in Thursday’s Stage 6, dropping Katerina to third place overall in the Solo Open Women’s standings, more than ten minutes behind the overall leader, Ruth Holcomb.
