Townsville, Australia — Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship), widely known as The World’s Fastest Growing Combat Sports Promotion, made a thunderous first impression in Australia with a sold-out BKFC Fight Night at the Townsville Convention Center.

The historic event followed just hours after BKFC-88 in Denver, Colorado, underscoring the promotion’s rapid global expansion.

Main Event: Haze Hepi Avenges Loss with Brutal Second-Round KO

In a high-stakes heavyweight rematch, Haze “The Huntsman” Hepi delivered a career-defining performance, stopping previously unbeaten Krzyzstof “Big Man” Wisniewski with a dominant second-round knockout.

Hepi dropped Wisniewski three times before the referee stepped in at 1:44 of Round 2.

The win was especially meaningful after their first meeting in October, where Wisniewski earned a first-round TKO at BKFC 83 in Rome, Italy.

Hepi celebrated the milestone moment in front of a raucous Australian crowd, saying:

“This is such an honor. Thanks so much to the team that put this on. What an event. What a night. I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope we can do it again.”

Wisniewski, who entered undefeated in bare knuckle competition, suffered the first loss of his BKFC run after two previous stoppage wins.

Co-Main Event: Prasovic Dominates Flanagan in Home Soil Debut

Unbeaten heavyweight Dilan Prasovic continued his rise with a statement victory over local favorite Mark Flanagan.

The Montenegro-born fighter overwhelmed Flanagan, forcing a doctor stoppage at the end of Round 1 after a one-sided opening frame.

Flanagan, a Townsville native and former boxing world title challenger, made his BKFC debut but was unable to withstand Prasovic’s early pressure.

Standout Finishes Across a Wild Fight Night Card

The Australian debut card was packed with violent finishes and breakout performances:

  • Josh Kuhne made a huge debut, stopping Mick Whitehead in Round 3 after scoring two knockdowns.
  • Boaz Kapua needed just 63 seconds to overwhelm Brayden Marzona with a barrage of knockdowns.
  • Hunter Ioane scored a third-round knockout over Luke Bampton at 1:13.

  • Asher Jack impressed with a second-round stoppage over Chris Drummond at 1:09.
  • Sebastian Temesi demolished Alvin Kanehailua in 73 seconds with two knockdowns.

Historic First BKFC Fight in Australia

In the opening bout of the night, Darcy Braine etched his name into history, winning the first BKFC fight ever held in Australia.

Braine defeated former NRL star Richie Fa’osa via unanimous decision (30-26 across all judges), scoring a knockdown in the opening round.
