Brandon McManus Breaks Silence On Being Released By The Packers

The Packers moved on from wildly inconsistent kicker Brandon McManus, after trading up to select Trey Smack during the NFL Draft.

After one of the most frustrating seasons of his career, McManus released a statement after being released by Green Bay.

“The environment at Lambeau Field is truly incredible,” McManus said, in part, of his full statement below.

Last season, McManus was just 24-of-30 on field goals, and Green Bay is’nt just resetting the financial clock against the cap at kicker but hoping that beginning this fall, Smack will be far more consistent and far more productive than McManus has been in recent years.
