Braun Strowman Reveals His Condition for WWE Return After Release

Braun Strowman isn’t closing the door on WWE following his release last year — but he’s making it very clear that door has a price tag.

While speaking on the Battleground podcast, Strowman addressed a possible WWE return and a potential match with Oba Femi. The former WWE star said he would be willing to get back in the ring if the money made sense, joking that WWE would need to bring a serious offer to his doorstep.

“Money’s right, I’m down to do about anything. I’ll try anything twice to make sure I don’t like it. But hey, yeah, that’s what I said. You want to back that Brinks truck up, dump some gold bullion on my porch? I’ll come whip that young kid’s ass real quick.”

Strowman also gave Oba Femi credit, saying the rising WWE star has a huge future ahead of him. Still, he made it clear that if WWE wants that kind of monster clash, the company needs to make the right business move.

“Don’t get me wrong, Oba’s very impressive, all goofing aside and stuff like that. The kid’s got a hell of a future in front of him. He’s quite the specimen. And like I said, if WWE pull their head out of their you-know-what and have some common sense, we can make a lot of money.”

Right now, Strowman isn’t exactly sitting around waiting for WWE to call. He said he’s loving life as the host of Everything on the Menu, and pulling him away from that new lane would take a major number.

“Business is business. I’m enjoying the hell out of being the host of the number one food television show on cable television, Everything on the Menu. So like I said, to pull me away from the table, it’s going to take a hell of a number.”

Strowman admitted he does miss parts of wrestling, especially the ring, the locker room, and the reaction from the crowd. That said, he has no interest in dealing with the backstage drama that comes with the business.

“Don’t get me wrong, I miss the ring. I miss being in the ring. I miss being in the locker room with the boys. I miss the pop. I miss the fans. I don’t miss the politics and the bull crap that comes along with it. They can sit over there and argue and do all that stuff. I’ll be over here eating food, my friends.”

Strowman’s message is pretty simple: he still has love for wrestling, but he’s not rushing back just to be back. He’s got a television show, a new chapter, and a very large asking price if WWE wants The Monster Among Monsters back in the mix.

Do you think WWE should bring Braun Strowman back for a match with Oba Femi, or is he better off sticking with his food show for now? Let us know your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
